History
Around 1155 the Babenberg Duke Henry II. called Irish monks to the Danube but the Viennese people always named them "die Schotten" (the Scots).
This designation has been maintained and kept alive in the names of many streets and houses. The name "Am Schottenpoint" (Scot's hill) can be traced to that origin too.

St.Stephen`s Cathedral, the City Park and Vienna`s prominent Ring Road buildings as well as all public transport facilities
are located only a few steps from the hotel.

Our trained reception staff is happy to inform you about the city as well as events, offering true personal care.
