'Josefstadt', Vienna's eighth district, lies between the Ringstrasse and the Gürtel – the very heart of Vienna – and its fine architecture and amenities, together with an excellent infrastructure, make for a splendid symbiosis between tradition and progress. Alongside the venerable University of Vienna, the modernly-equipped University Hospital, various private clinics, the Josefstadt Theatre and the many historic places of interest, there's an unlimited choice of shops and leisure amenities which combine to give the district an interesting diversity. Good food and drink is provided by a wealth of culinary options, from the simple 'Beisel' (Pub) to the Designer-Gourmet restaurant – and due to the good transport system, all easily reached without car.

General Description of the House
The 'Josefstadt Appartements' building, on the corner of Alserstrasse and Kochgasse, is a period Viennese town house in a central location. Josefstadt Appartements has 14 apartments set over 2 floors, which are accessible by lift. Abundant parking spaces are available in nearby garages. There's an in-house café offering breakfast and small meals. For small children, cots are available from the reception.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
