We welcome you to "Gasthof zur Kartause" a 3 star hotel owned by Family Lechner.

We are located approximately 1000m along the Donauuferstrasse close to the danube river, surrounded by lots of forest and the famous  Stift Melk ( ca. 10 km.).

Our hotel is very close to a public swimming pool, a tennis court and plenty of sport facilities.

In the summertime we spoil our clients with a beautiful terrace outside of the restaurant, where you can see the famous "Kartause" and the "Hammerschmiede".

Next to terrace is playground for children, so you can wine and dine peacefully without any worries.

All our rooms include a shower/toilet and cable TV. Some rooms are available with our without balcony and others are especially
designed for people with disabilities.

A delicious kitchen, a friendly service and lots of fun is the symbol of our restaurant.

Our restaurant offers honest austrian specialities and as well a delicous international menu.

We are well know for our signature venison dishes, a healthy dietkitchen and fantastic fish specialities.
