Pension Schwaiger - a small paradise

 Our house ­ which has a wonderful view of the Murvalley and of Lungau's mountains ­ is surrounded by scenic beauties.

It is located in the southernmost part of St.Margarethen. It is a cosy guesthouse with a small restaurant and it is run in a private atmosphere.

Elisabeth, the heart of our house, takes special care of our guests in serving them local dishes and drinks.
Also in the evening, she along with her family provides her guests with entertainment and social contact.

From spring to autumn

When the warm sunshine lights the Lungau the land is bathed in light which shows the landscape from its most beautiful side.
The colours are glowing brightly, the green of the meadows and forests, the brilliant and colourful display of flowers, the deep blue of the sky.

With the weather like this, people want to be out-of-doors in nature: to go hiking, to go for a walk, to play tennis, to play golf, to go swimming,
to go mountain-biking, to go horse-riding, and to go rock-climbing ­ or just to relax.

The location is just perfect:

it is far away from traffic noise and passing cars
it offers a restful sense of calm without boredom
below us there is the early morning mist and
above us there is the deep-blue sky (in spring and autumn)
the woods can be reached within 100 steps
the golf-course is within sight

In Winter

The Schischaukel St. Margarethen ­ Aineck ­ Katschberg is very close to our house.
If you do not hesitate to ski down deep snow slopes then you can stop directly in front of our cosy guesthouse.

Our house is 250 metres from the slopes and it takes you a 5 minutes walk to reach the cross-country ski-run or traditional ski or alpine huts.
Be it a large or small family, be it downhill or cross-country skiers ­ the skiing region Lungau offers skiing to suit just about any visitor...

to trudge through the snow to go out in the sun and to experience winter!
